Sometimes I get really great ideas and I get so excited that I forget to realize they're not actually that great.
THIS was NOT one of those times.
The 3rd graders absolutely ADORED the new penpal project I pitched to them, and they all got right on writing their new American friends!! Adorable!! :)
And the Bachi kids' opinion on the Spring Break 2013 Guide? PUMPED. Like, seriously pumped. The teacher loved the idea - almost as much as they did. ;) Excuses to listen to awesome (and, sometimes, super strange it's laughable) music, look at girls in bikinis and browse beaches online... all while competing for a prize and writing awesome and creative things? Yeah... I actually wish I was participating in this, too!! I so totally cannot wait for their final product!! ^_^
Between school and class with Patty, I wandered Madrid, trying to find the croissant cafe Scottski and I went to, as I want to take my dad there. After some searching, I finally found it! I also got a dark chocolate raspberry cookie from my favorite little cookie cafe, and followed it up with some tapas. On the way to the metro, I stumbled upon an adorable bag store and got a super cute CUPCAKE THEMED grocery bag that folds up super small so that you can always have one on you! Um, perfect!! ^_^
Class with Patty was great, as per usual, and we got the giggles throughout. :)
All in all, quite the successful day. Hell yeah.
